Spring 2017 Application Deadline: Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 5pm
The spring 2017 cycle will be open from February 15 until March 15, 2017 at 5pm.
Fall 2017 Application Deadline: Tuesday, August, 15, 2017 at 5pm
The fall 2017 cycle will be open from July 15 until August 15, 2017 at 5pm.
We highly encourage organizations interested in applying for funding to read in detail our mission, grants information and guidelines pages before submitting an application. The foundation receives a large number of proposals. It’s important that organizations upload the requested financial documentation (Q16-Q19) for review.
Applicants may also review the list of 2015 & 2016 grantees to understand the organizations, programs and grant amounts the foundation currently funds.
The Lily Auchincloss Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of life in NYC. The foundation supports art, education, human services and preservation/environment programs which serve to enrich the lives of the people of New York City.
The foundation funds only 501(c)3 organizations located within the five boroughs of New York City. The foundation does not award grants to individuals or programs for NYC residents outside of the five boroughs.
Discretionary grants and Discretionary emergency grants
Individual members of the Board of Directors initiate these grants. If your organization has been nominated for a discretionary grant, please contact us. We do not accept unsolicited proposals for discretionary grants.
